Think on the good things...

     When is the last time you sat and thought about all the good things in life you have done. I woke up the other morning with a couple pressing items on my agenda. Something inside me began to complain for a moment when I caught myself and quickly corrected that before it took over the rest of the day. Instead I decided to post a reminder of good times and places. I had read many times the scripture "philippians 4:8" in the Bible that tells us to thing on the things that are good. Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is praiseworthy-- think about these things. 
    Why? Not only is it mentally healthy it also keeps negative energies from overtaking your thoughts. Those negative thoughts and words send vibration that lead to depression and sickness. Most every spiral downward in anyones life starts with a single instance of negativity that was allowed to take hold in their thoughts. Later we may not even remember the occurrence, but the effects live on for years. Press the reset button. Thank God for the day, make up a song about how everything will work out and sing it all day. 
     There are both spiritual and physical reasons for scripture in the bible. Make sure your body and mind are resonating with the type of energy that will attract the things you want. If we ask God for something good the positive energy of faith needs to resonate with the good we expect to receive. Perhaps this is why without faith it is impossible to please God?
